Ricketts, First Lady Debut 2023 Nebraska License Plate Design Source Image It's LINCOLN – The new general-issue Nebraska licence plate was unveiled today by Governor Pete Ricketts and First Lady Susanne Shore. Based on artwork in the Nebraska Capitol Building, the mosaic depicts the Genius of Creative Energy. Beginning with the original "Genius of Creative Energy" mosaic, an array of mosaics has been installed around the Nebraska Capitol to connect the state's past with the ideals that shaped Western Civilization. With a lightning bolt in his hand, Hildreth Meiere's Genius is propelled across the sky by harnessing all four elements and soaring to new heights. As a tribute to this genius and all the mosaics in our Capitol depicting our shared history, we've designed a licence plate in his honour.   Gunman kills at least 19 children at Texas elementary school                Image source             As he moved from classroom to classroom in the Texas elementary school, the 18-year-old gunman shot and killed at least 19 children, according to authorities, in the latest horrific act in a country that has seen a run of atrocities. Law enforcement shot and killed the assailant. According to state Sen. Roland Gutierrez, who was briefed by state police, the dead toll included three adults.
